Events Diary
Bro John Pepler, Almoner of Tregullow Lodge 1006 and his wife Liz, who keeps the Lodge sparkling, being presented to Prince Edward Earl of Wessex as John is heavily involved organising sailing for the disabled at Stithians Lake.
John has rebuilt derelict boats which allow those bound to a wheel chair to sail a Catamaran unaided and much more.
At Tregullow 1006 June meeting the PGM visited and presented WBro.Robert Christopher with the PGM’s Certificate of Services to Freemasonry . He also presented WBro Doug Simmons with a Certificate for 70 years in Freemasonry.
The PGM rose and addressed WBro. Robert Christopher, he asked if he may call him Bob which sounded less formal and WBro Bob readily agreed. The PGM said that when he learned of WBro. Bob’s recent operation preventing him attending Newquay Tretherras School he had happily agreed to make it instead in WBro. Bob's Lodge among his Brothers. The excellent presentation of the Second Degree tracing Board we had just witnessed showed what professionalism WBro Bob had brought to Masonry. He has held an Officers post in Tregullow 1006 almost continuously since first being Master in 1982.
The PGM presented him with The Provincial Grand Master’s Certificate of Services to Freemasonry and explained that he would be able to parade into Lodge meetings and Festive Boards behind the active Provincial Officers. WBro. Bob examined his Certificate, thanked the PGM and said he felt very proud and that he had never expected to receive anything as nice and was lost for more words.
The PGM then spoke of WBro. Doug Simmons who has completed 70 years in Freemasonry as a member of Tregullow Lodge having been Master and then Treasurer for 20 years.. He had hoped to be able to present the Certificate personally but WBro Doug feels he is not well enough at 97 years of age. The PGM appointed Bro John Pepler the Lodge Almoner to take the Certificate on his behalf and convey his grateful thanks to WBro. Doug for everything he has done for Freemasonry.

The Cornish Brassonic Ensemble's popular CD 'A Time for Giving' is still available all proceeds to 2013 Festival.
Due to the success of sales last year, we have managed to release a further 500 discs for sale, however now all of the proceeds from the sales go to the 2013 appeal.
If any lodge wishes to order a supply, somehow or other, we will ensure they have their delivery in a relatively short timescale. If they email me,

, I can coordinate the delivery of the number of discs they require. For example, if every temple in the county took just one box of 25 discs to distribute amongst the lodges, that would comfortably account for the 500 discs.
Organs require Good Home ...
Bob Muchmore has a couple of organs ( musical ! ) that he needs good homes for.
They are in excellent condition.
